NOTE!! This item is located in Fairbanks Alaska. Read “Removal Instructions” very carefully before placing bid. NOTE!! See New Pick Up Hours Below. NOTE!! Please Be Prepared To Load Items Yourself. Condition: Fair This lot consists of one (1) plastic storage drum. The drum has been marked as being in fair condition due to its apparent structural integrity, lack of any major known defects, and suitability for continued reuse. No manufacturer label or definitive model information was found on the drum. This drum was previously used to store industrial propylene glycol. The contents have been emptied and the drum has been rinsed; however, prospective bidders should be aware that residual traces of propylene glycol may still be present within the container. Bidders should inspect and clean the drum as necessary prior to placing it into service. The exterior of the drum exhibits typical signs of prior use consistent with industrial storage applications. No major damage was observed at the time of listing. The drum appears structurally sound; however, no pressure testing, leak testing, or certification testing has been performed. A label referencing industrial propylene glycol and the manufacturer name "Brenntag" was observed on multiple barrels of similar appearance. Brenntag is a known chemical supplier and is believed to have been the source of the stored product rather than the manufacturer of the drum itself. No manufacturer identification for the drum was located. The drum features two (2) threaded outlets on the top surface intended for filling, dispensing, or transferring contents. Only one (1) cap is included and no other plugs, or closures are included with this lot. While the exact model is unknown, the following marking was observed on the drum and may be useful for identification purposes: "1H1/Y1.9/100/11/USA/M 4602" another stamp has the "Y1.9" switched out with "Y1.4" and has the added text of "with vented closure." The side of the drum is marked with graduated volume indicators up to 50 gallons.
