Some items are extremely heavy and require specialized transport. No Shipping: The City does not ship items or provide packaging materials. Buyers may coordinate with a third-party courier to package and ship items at their own expense. Deadlines: Standard removal timelines and appointment rules apply. Items not removed within the required timeframe will be considered in default. Third-Party Pickups If someone other than the winning bidder is picking up the asset, you must provide authorization prior to arrival. Please send an email to Purchasing@Schertz.com containing: 1. Written consent authorizing the specific third party or courier to remove the items. 2. A photocopy of the winning bidder s identification. Important: The individual or courier picking up the item must also present valid identification upon arrival to confirm they are the authorized recipient.
