Scrap Brass with Foreign Attachments

Full Description

This Lot consists of an estimated 20,700 Pounds of Brass Scrap with Foreign Attachments , located at Anniston Army Depot . The material consists primarily of brass-bearing scrap generated from industrial tank overhaul and maintenance operations and includes valves, fittings, pipe, tubing, connectors, heat exchanger components, industrial machinery parts, and other mixed metal components. The brass is sold with foreign attachments , including aluminum, steel, stainless steel, plastic, rubber, and other incidental non-metallic materials. Material will be loaded into the buyer's conveyance by Anniston personnel. Due to Loading Limitations, Vehicle Height can be no higher than 12.5 feet off the ground. Anniston's Equipment is unable to lift over that height. CONDITION OF THE PROPERTY IS NOT WARRANTED. PICTURES ARE NOT WARRANTED. PROPERTY IS ON A MILITARY INSTALLATION. PLEASE READ BELOW CAREFULLY Inspection and pickup are by confirmed appointment only, Monday-Thursday from 7:00 AM-2:30 PM. Closed federal holidays. Alcohol, drugs, and firearms are prohibited. A valid United States photo driver's license and proof of insurance are required. Social Security numbers and other information may be required to validate a person's identity. People entering the Depot will be subject to a thorough vehicle inspection and personal background check. Persons with felony convictions are prohibited from entering the installation. Individuals with outstanding warrants will be detained and local authorities notified. An escort is required while on the installation; therefore, pickup appointments are mandatory. If sending someone on your behalf, please provide a release of authority or identify the company and individual making the pickup. They must have a copy of the purchaser's receipt for signing and a valid photo ID.
