Carson City Mint • Key Date in the Morgan Series Grading Assessment Luster: Strong, uninterrupted cartwheel across both sides Obverse: Light cheek friction only; fields clean for a CC Reverse: Excellent feather detail; minimal contact marks Strike: Above‑average for the date; wreath and wing detail crisp This is AU58 behavior, possibly MS60/MS61 depending on how strict the grader is. Obverse cheek has a couple moderate ticks, but nothing grade‑limiting A premium 1882‑CC Morgan Dollar displaying full cartwheel luster and the classic “slider” look associated with high‑end AU58 examples. The obverse shows only light cheek friction, while the reverse is exceptionally clean with strong feather detail and no distracting marks. Strike quality is above average for the issue, and the coin retains bright, original surfaces with no evidence of cleaning. A standout Carson City dollar that will appeal to both type collectors and CC specialists. The pics show the coin that is up for sale. We have no history on the coin.
