We no longer offer local pickup at any of our locations. As such, ALL ITEMS WILL BE SHIPPED UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED IN THE ITEM DESCRIPTION. PLEASE BE SURE TO READ OUR INSPECTION, PAYMENT & REMOVAL SECTIONS AT THE BOTTOM OF OUR LISTING EVERY TIME THAT YOU BID. THEY DO GET UPDATED OCCASIONALLY AND MAY BE DIFFERENT FROM THE LAST TIME THAT YOU BID WITH US.. These sections will answer most of your questions regarding payment and shipping. You are bidding on a collection of THREE (3) U.S. STEEL PENNIES from 1943 from all 3 U.S. mints (Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco) and TWO (2) UNCIRCULATED STAMPS from 1945!! For patriotic reasons, and to conserve metal during WWII, these pennies were made with zinc coated steel instead of the traditional copper that were normally made of. This is the ONLY YEAR THAT THEY WERE EVER MADE THIS WAY! This historic collection includes 3 pennies from the Philadelphia Mint, one from the Denver Mint and one from the San Francisco mint. They are all mounted so that the front and back of each coin is visible. Another interesting fact is that the 1943 penny is the only US penny that can be picked up with a magnet. All dates are readable on each coin. The stamps are both from 1945. The 3-cent 1945 U.S. Navy postage stamp was issued on October 27, 1945, in Annapolis, Maryland. It honors the U.S. Navy's role in World War II and features a group of sailors in summer uniforms. The 1-cent Franklin D. Roosevelt and Hyde Park postage stamp was issued on July 26, 1945, in Hyde Park, New York. It features a green portrait of FDR alongside his home. Again, both stamps are uncancelled, meaning that they are uncirculated! These rare pieces are highly popular for coin collectors, hobbyists and people of all ages and would make a great addition to any coin/ stamp collection or portfolio, and for a great GovDeals price! THE PRICE OF PENNIES CONTINUES TO CLIMB SINCE THEY STOPPED MAKING THEM!!! Here's your chance to add an great monetary piece to your collection, and for a great GovDeals price!
