1963 SEAGRAVE Fire Engine Pump Truck

Available for auction is a 1963 Seagrave Fire engine From a local township Fire Dept. This Truck Has been in storage and used for Parade Duty Sparingly since 2004. Truck comes with hose, nozzles, generator, empty fire extinguishers, lights and mechanical Q siren, The electronic siren in the cab dose not work, but comes with truck. Truck comes with manuals and copy of certificate of origin, Truck is titled with clean Ohio title. Tires have some dry rot in them, I believe they are tube tires, they all are currently holding air. The truck has a newer clutch and pressure plate was all serviced several years ago, The brakes were serviced at that time but no longer work, (NO BRAKES). fluid is leaking from brake cylinders. Original Seagrave 12 cyl Flathead type engine, All new Plugs, wire, coils. Carburetors were cleaned and rebuilt. Truck needs Brake work, exhaust work and fuel pumps cleaned or rebuilt. This truck has 2 fuel pump, a mechanical pump at engine and an electric one by tank, the mechanical pump was not working last we knew and the Stewart Warner electric pump was intermittent, We have not ran this truck for over a year now & it will need some tinkering to get it going again. This vehicle comes with some fuel pump rebuild kits and a spare electric pump, also comes with some new filters, oil and fuel. The tank is 500 gallon for fire pump, All fire pump equipment is intact, but has not pumped water for a decade, Tank and pump was primed with antifreeze and mostly kept indoors within a heated area of warehouse. This is an OLD pretty original truck, It will need some work to make it road worthy again, Do not expect to drive it home, vehicle needs trailered or towed. due to brakes! Passenger side door window is cracked, all other glass is good. When running, it runs good, Power steering too. Truck has aluminum ladders, attic ladder, wood ladder (not pictured) (for drivers side of truck), pike pole, generator, power fan, 2 nossels, hoses, booster reels with hose, couple empty fire extinguishers, and lettering is all gold leaf painted on. Truck is sold as is. we have tried to describe vehicle to best of our ability. Truck is solid, Cabinets are in good shape, Paint has chips, dings and faded. Needs a good buffing out! See pictures!
