Full Description
The turbine is designed for the direct drive of a generator with a rotating main exciter and 13.8 KV rated voltage. Is of the single-casing type, designed as an extraction condensing turbine having a total of twenty-three reaction stages. The turbine consists of the outer casing divided into the inlet section of the casing with one guide blade carrier suspended for freely thermal expansion. The rotor is of the single-piece type. A rigid coupling is used for connecting the rotor end on the exhaust side to the generator. The inlet section of the casing is made of cast steel, the exhaust section is a weldment with bolted flanges. Unit retired after RRF fire 2/13/2023. The Rotor is stored at K Machinery Industrial services LLC, @ 2527 E National Cemetery Road, Florence, SC. 29506. Where it is being keep for maintenance, rotation, and preservation. K Machinery Industrial services will be charging the bidder to both view the turbine and to pick up the turbine. The rate will fluctuate depending on the time of day the person wants to visit and inspect the rotors. K Machine staff works 7am – 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. To be safe It is estimated that to inspect the roto, take pictures, etc... it would take the better part of a day. and the bidder will be charged $600 for ½ day and $1,000 for an entire 8-hour day, with the assistance of a tech. By bidding on this auction, the bidder confirms they have read and agree to the terms listed on the "Indemnification and Insurance" document attached regarding insurance protection required.
