1986 GMC 7000 Diesel TopKick with formerly used by the Town of Macclesfield Electric Department. At the time of removal from service, the truck ran and drove. CAT 3208 V8 Engine 5 speed manual transmission with 2 speed rear. White cab and utility/service body with multiple exterior storage compartments. Yellow aerial boom and bucket; Fully functional 60 foot Terex boom with working jib. Side-mounted hydraulic/boom controls are present. The truck has been out of service and is being sold in its present condition; it requires repair, maintenance, and inspection and must be towed from the site. No onsite repair work will be permitted. Inspections are available by appointment during regular business hours. Rear work platform/grating and rear-mounted lights. Protective screen/guard behind the cab and front brush guard/bumper. Dual rear wheels. Cab includes bench-style seating and manual controls. Odometer is pictured showing approximately 45,511 miles; actual mileage cannot be verified and should be considered unknown. Air brakes are reported to be bad. Battery is dead. Visible surface rust and corrosion are present on the boom, bucket pedestal, work platform, service-body areas, and storage compartments. Paint is worn, chipped, and peeling in areas. Interior shows age-related wear, including worn/torn seat upholstery and dirt/rust on the cab floor area.
