1990 International 4800 Crew Cab 4 WD Chassis/ Central States Aluminum Fire Body Type III Engine/ Type II Tactical Tender. 35000 GVWR Chassis. International DT466 Diesel Engine Turbo Charged and After Cooled with 245 hp. Allison MT-643 Automatic 4-speed Transmission with FABCO Transfer Case and Front Axle. Air Brakes with Wedge in the front and S-Cam in the rear. TELMA CC135 driveline retarder. 50 gallon diesel fuel tank. Cummins 4BTA3.9 Diesel Pony Motor with a Darley HE500 single stage 500 gpm pump. 1500 gallon poly tank with one rear 2 1/2" Direct Tank Fill and rear manual dump valve. Foam Pro foam system. Pump and Roll Capable with front 1 1/2" discharge or Front Sweeps. Two 1 1/2" preconnected crosslays. One 2 1/2" Discharge at the pump panel. One 2 1/2" intake and One 4" Intake at the pump panel. Folding Porta-tank, 10' Folding Ladder, and 14' Extension Ladder are included with the sale of the unit. This unit has been utilized by the Fire District since purchased new as a cross staffed piece of equipment in both a frontline and reserve capacity. The unit can be typed as a Type III Engine or a Type II Tactical Water Tender. The unit was utilized up until recently and is being sold due to the delivery of a new replacement. This vehicle was equipped with radio equipment and other aftermarket electronics. The equipment has been or will be removed, however, mounting holes and some wiring still remain.
