1991 Ford F700 Flat Bed and dump body • Vin #1FDNK74P8MVA33347 • Miles: 99896.7 • GVWR: 24,200 pounds • Ford Diesel 6.6 L Engine • Gerling Brakes • 5 speed manual transmission • 12 feet steel flatbed with wood sides • Truck sold as is where is with no warranty • Truck does exhibit normal signs of work use over the past 30 years This 1991 F700 truck was used for many years hauling blue stone, pit gravel and asphalt for everyday work. This truck has seen a lot of idle time. During the fall months, this truck was used cleaning storm drains in the town. The past 12 years, this truck hauled a 500 gallon water tank that was used for blowing out pipes, mixing concrete and watering grass and trees. A few things to note about this truck. 1. The steering gear box has been replaced but the steering wheel needs to be aligned. 2. The brake lines were replaced a few years ago. There still seems to be an issue with the brakes being soft that needs to be addressed. 3. The tires are old and need to be replaced. I would not recommend driving this truck very far until this has been addressed. 4. The air conditioning blows air, not cold air. 5. The last time we tried to use the dump body the pto did engage and the bed started to rise. However, the lift cylinder began to leak fluid. We believe the cylinder needs to be repacked. 6. The batteries are old. We have charged the batteries, and they will crank the truck. But they will need to be replaced. 7. This truck has been a very reliable truck when the batteries are charged. It usually starts right up no matter how hot or cold the temperature is.
