Condition: Fair This lot consists of one 1994 GMC 7000 Elgin Eagle street sweeper, equipped with a 6.5L L6 turbo-intercooled diesel engine and Elgin dual-steering modification. The unit is marked in fair condition due to being operable, drivable, and retaining its street-sweeping capabilities. The air brake and boom arm systems have known issues that will require attention, although both are currently functional. The exact service or repairs needed have not been determined. Operational & Mechanical Information: Unit is currently operable and drivable. Street-sweeping functions remain operational. Air brake system is functional but has issues requiring service; exact cause/care needed is unknown. Boom arm systems are functional but have issues requiring attention; exact cause/care needed is unknown. Blower motor operates and heater produces warm air. Air conditioning produces cool air. Driver-side vents appeared to be non-functional. Windshield wipers are inoperable. Cause is unknown; motor is suspected. Vehicle features an Elgin dual-steering modification. Indicators, cab light, and rear-mounted large arrow warning lights are functional. Body & Access Panels: The vehicle body shows areas of rust consistent with its prior use and age. At the rear of the sweeper are two access doors. The left rear access door is locked, while the right door opens freely and contains a maintenance chart on the inside. Two additional access panels are located toward the rear on the sides of the unit. The locking mechanism has been removed from the right-side panel. The locking mechanism on the other panel remains intact, but the panel is currently unlocked. The intact locking mechanisms do not accept a key. The reason for this is unknown. Identification & Additional Equipment: A maintenance chart is also located inside the cab. The chart identifies the sweeper as either Series E or Series F. Based on visual similarities, the unit is believed to be a Series F, but this identification has not been independently confirmed and may instead be a Series E. A small storage box is attached to the rear interior portion of the cab. Due to the unit's age, prior use, and known issues with the air brake, boom arm, and windshield wiper systems, bidders should review all photographs carefully and inspect the sweeper in person prior to bidding when possible. Buyers should independently determine the extent of any required maintenance or repairs and the suitability of the unit for their intended application.
