1996 International 4900 Type 3 Wildland Fire Engine Northern Sonoma County Fire is offering for sale a 1996 International 4900 Type 3 Wildland Fire Engine equipped with a 7.6L inline-6 diesel engine and Allison automatic transmission. This apparatus remains fully operational and has been maintained in accordance with department standards throughout its service life. The engine starts, runs, drives, and pumps well. All major vehicle and firefighting systems are functional. During annual pump testing, the Darley pump falls slightly below the rated 500 GPM capacity listed on the apparatus placard. While it no longer meets the stringent requirements for front-line emergency response, the pump remains fully operational and performs well for many non-emergency applications.
