1996 Johnson outboard

1996 Johnson outboard 9.9hp converted to a 15hp engine, all work was performed at a local marine outboard shop. This motor is like new with very low hours of use, since the owner did not have much free time. The motor has less then 100 hours on it from the time it was purchased new to now. The motor has been kept in their garage on a stand and was always flushed after use. This was personally owned by a member of management, they no longer have the boat it went on. The boat was a small 10ft boat from the 1980's mostly made out of wood, it was sitting on land on saw horse's upside down to preserve it and keep if from collecting water during the winter months. A few years ago a storm came through and flipped it over and it went unnoticed for a few months and began filling with rain water. Once it was discovered it was to late to salvage the boat. so the owner got rid of the boat and kept the motor sitting in storage for the past few years. They decided they were not going to buy another boat for the motor to go on due to lack of time to enjoy a boat. The owner reported the motor was recently started and was winterized before it was put back into storage. We encourage bidders to inspect all items before bidding, all sales are "as is, where is".
