The unit remained in active frontline service through 2021 when it and was operated as part of the District s structural fire suppression fleet. The vehicle has received routine preventive maintenance, scheduled services, and necessary repairs performed by the Rancho Cucamonga Fire District Fleet Services Division throughout its service life. Maintenance practices were consistent with manufacturer recommendations and District fleet maintenance standards for frontline fire apparatus. Chassis Engine: Cummins M11 Fire Pump: Hale , 1,500 GPM Water Tank Capacity: 700 Gallons Current Condition: Due to age, accumulated mileage, and evolving operational reliability standards for frontline emergency response apparatus, the unit has been removed from frontline service. While no longer meeting the District s operational criteria for primary emergency response deployment, the apparatus remains: mechanically complete; suitable for non-emergency or training use; appropriate for vocational, mechanical, and firefighter skills training environments. This apparatus is best suited for training, educational, or limited-support roles, rather than sustained frontline emergency response. The engine, transmission, and body components reflect normal wear and tear consistent with nearly two decades of emergency service use.
