1999 Jeep Cherokee SE 4-Door 2WD SPORT UTILITY 4-DR 4.0L L6 OHV 12V Vehicle starts, runs, and moves under its own power. Engine reaches and holds normal operating temperature. Vehicle was driven approximately 20 miles. Check engine light is on. Engine has a noticeable misfire and may occasionally stall when coming to a stop. A clunk is noticeable when shifting into reverse. Cause has not been diagnosed. Heat works. Air conditioning does not work. Cruise control Vehicle Condition & Recommended Use This Jeep is operational, but it has known mechanical issues that will require attention. The misfire and occasional stalling may warrant checking the ignition system and engine timing, among other possible causes. This vehicle uses a distributor-style ignition system. No diagnosis has been performed, and the actual cause of these symptoms is unknown. Although the vehicle runs and moves, we recommend considering it primarily as a parts vehicle for the 2000 Jeep Cherokee right-hand-drive (RHD) model currently listed in our auctions. These factory RHD Cherokees are uncommon, and certain RHD-specific components can be difficult, expensive, or potentially impossible to source separately. Keeping these two Cherokees together as a pair could provide a valuable supply of parts for future repairs and help keep the RHD vehicle on the road. For someone maintaining a factory RHD Cherokee, this vehicle may be more valuable as a parts donor than as a standalone driver. Buyers should evaluate the vehicle and its components to determine whether it meets their needs. Vehicle history and maintenance records are unknown. No comprehensive mechanical or safety inspection has been performed. Additional mechanical or electrical issues may be present. Vehicle should be expected to have normal wear, cosmetic imperfections, scratches, dents, paint chips, and other signs of use consistent with its age and mileage unless otherwise noted. Inspection & Sale Terms Inspection is the bidder's responsibility. We strongly recommend contacting us through GovDeals before bidding to arrange an inspection. Third-party inspections are welcome at the buyer's expense. All sales are AS-IS, WHERE-IS, AND FINAL, with no warranties expressed or implied. The vehicle's condition at inspection does not guarantee its condition at pickup or its ability to be driven away. Buyers are responsible for determining whether the vehicle should be driven or transported. SPECIAL LOCATION & TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION This vehicle is stored at a secured facility. On-site buyer pickup is not available. The facility requires an active TWIC card, background checks, and multiple approvals for entry. To avoid requiring each winning bidder to complete these access requirements, we will assist with arranging transportation. We will work with the winning bidder to coordinate delivery through our own available arrangements or by locating a third-party transporter. Reduced-rate transportation will be available. Please contact us before bidding with questions about delivery arrangements or estimated transportation costs. Additional Information Titles are processed through the appropriate title agency and mailed to the address listed in the buyer's GovDeals profile after assignment into the buyer's name. Open titles are not provided. Ohio residents are taxed according to applicable state requirements and the address on their driver's license. Sales tax is collected as required by law. Payment is accepted by cash or check; returned checks may delay paperwork until payment is resolved. Because transportation will be coordinated for this vehicle, please communicate with us before bidding to discuss delivery arrangements, scheduling, and any applicable transportation costs. You can call / text our office at 330-590-1032 for a qoute to transport this unit.
