2 Portable Electronic Message Boards Plates 131426 and 200160 Equipment Description Quantity: Two (2) portable trailer-mounted electronic message boards Approximate Age: 17 years Condition: Poor Condition and Disclaimer Both message boards are being sold as surplus equipment in poor condition. The trailers exhibit significant rust and corrosion throughout. At the time of surplus 11-12-25, the electronic message display functionality was not operating. The cause of the malfunction has not been diagnosed, and the Village makes no representation regarding the condition, repairability, completeness, or operability of the message boards, trailers, electrical systems, batteries, solar charging systems, controllers, wiring, lighting, axles, tires, brakes, structural components, or any other equipment or accessories. The Village has not performed a comprehensive inspection of the equipment and makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding the condition, functionality, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or suitability of the equipment for use. Defects, damage, missing components, mechanical failures, electrical failures, structural deficiencies, and other conditions may exist that are known or unknown. Inspection Encouraged Prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the equipment prior to bidding. Inspections are welcomed and available by appointment. Interested parties should conduct their own evaluation and assessment of the equipment's condition and suitability. Sale Terms The equipment is being sold AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH ALL FAULTS, and without warranty or guarantee of any kind. No refunds, exchanges, repairs, or adjustments will be provided. The successful bidder assumes all responsibility for loading, transportation, repair, restoration, operation, registration, licensing, and disposal of the equipment following purchase. The purchaser acknowledges that they have relied solely upon their own evaluation and agree that the Village of Tequesta shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, costs, or expenses arising from the purchase, condition, transportation, repair, ownership, or use of the equipment.
