2000 GMC Savana 6.5L V8 OHV 16V TURBO DIESEL Bus runs and drives; has some body mount rust; handicap ramp has some electrical issues; will not pass VA state inspection. Important Buyer Notice: Please note that this is being sold as a surplus school bus. As such, prior to its transfer and release, we will ensure compliance with the Code of Virginia 8VAC20-70-500. This will include, but may not be limited to, removing the traffic warning signal system and the crossing control arm. Additionally, all "School Bus" lettering will be painted over. A mandatory written notice will be attached to the Title stating that the bus no longer complies with school bus safety standards and cannot be operated on public highways to transport school children. Note for Private Schools/Dealers: If purchased for resale or private school transport, you are legally required to change the body color to something other than national school bus glossy yellow.
