2002 GMC Sierra 1500 EXTENDED CAB PICKUP 4-DR, 5.3L V8 OHV 16V. Vehicle removed from service because it has an issue with possibly the starter and there is an issue that is causing the battery to lose it's charge while just sitting idle. The battery is essentially new, would not start the engine or hold a charge. The truck was due to go to surplus and no diagnostic was run. While in service the truck had regular maintenance every 5K miles. Last passed Virginia State inspection 9/22/25. There are a few rust through areas at the rear bumper and lower tail gate. Photos show surface rust on frame and suspension. Interior is fair. Vinyl seats intact with wear spot on drivers seat. Floors are solid. All glass intact. Tires have roughly 15,500 miles on them. Camper shell is sound. Attachment has the trucks maintenance record from 2022 to present. Obviously the truck will need to be hauled from it's present location.
