This vehicle does not have a NJ title. The winning bidder will be given a bill of sale and New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (NJ MVC) Certificate of Title (NJ MVC form OS/SS-88). To obtain a NJ Title for this vehicle, you must send via US Mail (to the address on the top of the form) the following documents: 1. NJMVC Form (OS/SS-88 ~ genuine form, not a photocopy!). 2. A copy of the legal notice posted by Egg Harbor Township, listing the vehicle shown on the OS/SS-88. 3. Bill of Sale issued with all the particulars listed for the vehicle on the OS/SS-88 {Govdeals bill of sale, and the resolution from Egg Harbor Twp., listing this vehicle}. 4. Photocopy of your NJ driver’s license. 5. $3.00 title fee made out to NJ MVC; NJ Sales Tax, also the NJ MVC Out of State- If you are out-of-state and are the winning bidder, you will follow the above steps. You will also need to include clear copies of the documents required in the “6 Points of Identification” to obtain a NJ Title of ownership. Note: Please check with your local government to determine requirements for obtaining a title. Not all states allow impounded or abandoned/forfeited vehicles to be registered from an out of state entity. Should you win the bid on the vehicle and cannot register it in your state; the Township of Egg Harbor accepts no liability.
