Condition: Fair This lot consists of one (1) 2004 Ford Crown Victoria SEDAN 4-DR, equipped with a 4.6L V8 SOHC 16V engine. The vehicle has been marked in fair condition and was previously used by CTC's law enforcement academy. Condition: The vehicle is mechanically operable based on the systems tested below, but shows signs of prior use, including cosmetic wear, former law-enforcement equipment installations, and other noted issues. Mechanical & Operational: Requires a jump start to start; cause is unknown. Park, reverse, drive, and neutral were tested and operated as designed. Power windows and power locks are functional. The rear door locks engage but do not secure the doors. Radio powers on, changes channels, and otherwise functions as designed, but produces no sound. Heater and A/C are functional. Driver-seat electrical lumbar adjustment is functional. Headlights, brake lights, and turn indicators are functional. Odometer reads 85,425 miles. Exterior: Areas of localized rust, chipped paint, scratches, and other marks. Push bar installed and attached to the grille. Winterization cord present; extent of winterization is unknown. One hole in the roof, one in the trunk, and holes on the backs of the side mirrors from previously mounted law-enforcement equipment. These openings are currently covered with duct tape. Interior: Driver-seat upholstery is damaged. Passenger-seat upholstery shows wear, including faded fabric and loose fabric strings where the backrest meets the seat. Hard-plastic detention seats are installed in the rear seating area. Rear door handles are absent on both passenger and driver sides. Loose electrical wires are present beneath the center of the dashboard from previously mounted law-enforcement equipment. Loose wiring is present behind the passenger seatbelt guard from previously installed emergency lights. Loose wires at base of back window from previously installed emergency lights. Digital Eye Witness system is installed but is unresponsive; cause and functionality are unknown. Interior trunk emergency lights have been removed and their wires cut; exterior covers remain installed. Included Equipment & Additional Information: One (1) key operates all doors, the trunk, and ignition. Two (2) keys marked “Fuel” are included; no locking fuel cap is present. One (1) scissor jack. One (1) Bridgestone Blizzak WS70 studless tubeless radial tire, size 225/60R16 M+S, mounted on a rim, with moderate tread remaining. No vehicle work history is available. Bidders should review all photographs and available information carefully and inspect the vehicle prior to bidding.
