2006 Ford F-350 SD XL 2WD CHASSIS AND CAB 5.4L V8 SOHC 24V with Utility Body and Onan Generator The Village of Mechanicsburg is offering for sale a 2006 Ford F-350 Super Duty utility truck previously used by the Village Water Utility Department. Mileage: 73,905 miles The Village purchased this vehicle around 2020 from AT&T and subsequently placed it into service as a municipal water utility truck. VEHICLE CONDITION Engine/Run Condition: The vehicle starts, runs, and is currently operational. Utility Body: Equipped with a utility/service body with multiple exterior storage compartments. The utility body has rust present and may require repair or replacement depending upon the buyer's intended use. Generator: The utility body is equipped with an Onan gasoline-powered generator. The generator starts and runs; however, the Village has not tested electrical output, operation under load, capacity, or overall performance. No guarantee is made regarding generator output, condition, or remaining service life. Tires: Tires were purchased approximately eight months ago. Overall Condition: The truck is in good overall condition for its age and prior use. As a former AT&T service vehicle and municipal utility truck, bidders should expect normal wear including rust, scratches, dents, cosmetic imperfections, and other signs of age and use. AS-IS / WHERE-IS SALE The vehicle, utility body, generator, and all included equipment are being sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS, WITH ALL FAULTS, KNOWN AND UNKNOWN. The Village of Mechanicsburg makes no warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied, regarding condition, mechanical operation, electrical systems, generator operation or output, roadworthiness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or remaining service life. Statements regarding condition are general observations only and do not constitute a warranty or guarantee. Prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the vehicle and equipment prior to bidding. INSPECTION Vehicle may be viewed by appointment only by calling 937-834-3187 ext. 3 and leaving a message for a return call. PAYMENT & PICKUP TERMS IF YOU CANNOT PAY ONLINE WITHIN 5 BUSINESS DAYS AND REMOVE THE VEHICLE WITHIN 10 BUSINESS DAYS, DO NOT BID. Payment must be made online within five (5) business days of auction closing. If payment is not received within that time, the vehicle may be reauctioned. The buyer must remove the vehicle from Village property within ten (10) business days after issuance of the Buyer's Certificate. A $25.00 per day storage fee will be assessed for each day beyond the 10th business day. If the buyer fails to remove the vehicle by the required deadline, the Village may move or store the vehicle. The buyer will be responsible for any costs associated with moving, transporting, or storing it. The Village will not be responsible for damage resulting from such removal or relocation. If the vehicle is not removed within 30 days after the sale date, the buyer shall be deemed to have ceded ownership to the Village of Mechanicsburg. The Village may thereafter dispose of the vehicle as it deems reasonable and retain any proceeds.
