VIN: 5J8TB18537A007141 Mileage: Approximately 202,287 miles Engine: 2.3L Turbocharged 4-Cylinder Transmission: 5-Speed Automatic Drivetrain: All-Wheel Drive Trim: Technology Package VEHICLE DETAILS This is a 2007 Acura RDX with the Technology Package .... basically the loaded-up version for the year .... with the turbocharged 2.3L 4 cylinder, automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. Leather, heated seats, navigation, sunroof, HID headlights, dual-zone climate control, premium audio, steering-wheel controls, alloy wheels, power everything and all the other stuff Acura was throwing at these when they were trying to make the RDX feel like a little luxury rocket ship. And remember, this was 2007. It now has approximately 202,287 miles on it, so no, we are not going to try to convince anybody this is grandma’s 42,000-mile garage queen. What we will tell you is that this one has reportedly had service records going back to somewhere around the 50,000-mile range and continuing through the 200,000-mile neighborhood. Those records are not sitting here in my hand right now, so I’m not going to tell you they come with the vehicle or pretend I can document every oil change since George Bush was in office. But there is a reported long-term maintenance history behind this RDX, and that matters on a 200,000-mile vehicle. CONDITION / KNOWN ISSUES Now for the part where we keep everybody honest. It has 202,000 miles. I'm told it needs a rack & pinion. It is 19 years old. And it looks like a 19 year-old Acura that has actually been driven. The front leather has seen better days. The seating surfaces show substantial wear, and the headliner has deterioration as well. The rear leather has held up considerably better. The exterior has normal age related cosmetic wear and paint deterioration in areas. Anybody who has been around Honda, Acura and honestly even some Lexus products from this era ... already knows that some of the leather and paint from these years did not exactly age like a fine bottle of wine. Mechanically, these vehicles were often a whole lot tougher than the cosmetics made them look. That is pretty much the story here. This is not a restored car. It is not a museum piece. It is not something we are going to buff for three days, spray tire shine on, park under perfect lighting and pretend it lived in somebody’s climate-controlled living room. It is a high-mileage, loaded, turbo AWD Acura that has apparently been maintained, has made it past 200,000 miles and is still here doing its thing. And honestly, that tells you something. Please look closely at ALL photographs. The pictures are part of the description, and we would much rather you know what you are buying before you bid than show up afterward surprised that a 2007 vehicle with 202,000 miles has some wrinkles.
