2008 Dodge Charger — Former Law Enforcement / Fire Department Response Vehicle 2008 Dodge Charger SEDAN 4-DR — 3.5L V6 SOHC 24V This Charger was originally used as an administrative law enforcement vehicle before being donated to a volunteer fire department in August 2016. Since then, it has served as a frontline first-response vehicle. The vehicle's original color was silver and it was professionally repainted in 2016 in Ford Race Red when it was placed into fire department service. The original 3.5L V6 engine runs and drives well, and the transmission was rebuilt in 2023 and has performed great since. The vehicle has definitely seen its share of service and shows the normal wear you would expect from a vehicle that has spent years in emergency response use. Features & Recent Work: Original 3.5L V6 engine — runs well Transmission rebuilt in 2023 Emergency lighting and siren — operational Front push bar with LED flood light Roof-mounted UHF & VHF antennas Battery replaced in 2024 Tires are in new/like-new condition New headlights High-end rotors installed within the last 2–3 years Very quiet-running vehicle Approximately 1,200 miles remaining until the next recommended oil change Maintenance Records: Unfortunately, we do not have complete maintenance records for the vehicle. Given its history as a law enforcement and emergency response vehicle, we want to be completely transparent with potential buyers. We can provide information about the maintenance and repairs we are aware of, but we cannot provide a complete service history. Please Note: We recommend that any interested buyer have the vehicle independently inspected prior to purchase. The front-end suspension should receive particular attention, as the vehicle occasionally makes some random squeaking noises that have not been diagnosed. This is a used emergency response vehicle being sold as-is, and it shows the wear consistent with its previous service. That said, it runs well, has received several recent repairs and upgrades, and still has plenty of potential for someone looking for an affordable vehicle or a unique former emergency/law-enforcement vehicle. Serious inquiries only.
