Bradley County Government is pleased to present this 2008 Dodge Durango SLT 4WD bearing VIN 1D8HB48228F123786 for bid by the general public. This vehicle is in RUNNING AND DRIVING CONDITION at the time of listing. This vehicle was originally purchased used 2012 by Bradley County Fire/Rescue. In 2014, it was internally transferred to the Bradley County Geographic Information Systems (GIS) division where it has remained as a department vehicle and has seen only occasional light duty use since leaving the fire service. This vehicle features a 5.7L V8 HEMI engine and 4WD, and bears 155,631 miles at the time of listing. Condition notes: This vehicle is in generally good condition for age and mileage. TWO keyless entry keys are included with the vehicle. There are two through-hole NMO two-way radio antenna mounts installed in the center of the roof. The antennas have been removed and are not included. They mounts appear to be in good condition and no signs of water intrusion into the interior roof liner are present or visible. The interior is in generally good condition for age. The driver side rear fender flare features paint chipping and surface rust common with this model series of Durango. The passenger side rear fender is damaged from an incident when the vehicle was struck by a large commercial vehicle while parked. There is no visible damage beyond the fender that could be seen during a basic visual inspection. After this incident, the passenger brake light assembly was replaced, and an extra brake light assembly (undamaged) is included with the vehicle. The owner's manual or other documentation are NOT present in the vehicle or included. Per the department, there is an intermittent check engine light (unknown code or codes), and intermittent Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) warning. Service records are available to view in this listing. The 4WD system was NOT tested. There is a lifter tick noise on cold start, but it goes away after about 30 - 45 seconds, after which the engine sounds excellent, quiet, and smooth. The transmission engages reverse, drive, and neutral smoothly and without kicking/slamming sensation. The A/C system appears functional and blows cold.
