By purchasing this vehicle, the buyer agrees to release, indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the municipality, its officers, employees, and agents from any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to the buyer's ownership, possession, transportation, operation, modification, registration, or use of the vehicle after transfer of possession, including any equipment or components installed on the vehicle. This provision applies equally to all vehicles, including emergency vehicles.
