Garrett County Government will not be responsible for any repairs, deficiencies, defects, or conditions discovered before or after the sale. All purchased equipment must be removed from Garrett County Government property within ninety (90) calendar days of the date of award or other written notice provided by the County. Any equipment not removed within the required 90-day period shall be deemed abandoned and forfeited to Garrett County Government, without refund or compensation to the successful bidder. The County may retain, dispose of, resell, or otherwise manage the forfeited equipment at its sole discretion. By submitting a bid, the bidder acknowledges and accepts the property and equipment in its existing “AS IS, WHERE IS” condition and agrees that the sale is final, with no refunds, returns, exchanges, or adjustments.
