2011 Freightliner M2 106 CONVENTIONAL CAB, 8.3L L6 DIESEL. Allison transmission. Truck was in service this year. The driver was unloading the load and it appears he didn't release the correct latch and the tailgate came loose from the left side upper pin and put all the weight on the right upper pin. It bent the right side of the bed. Also the bed has rust in it that helped to weaken it. This is a plow truck that also had a salt speader and brine tank that sit in the bed. These pieces of equipment DOESN'T come with the truck. The cab and chassis was in good working order at the time we removed from the road. Hours showing on dash for engine hours is 4752.
