The flexible steel cable that connects the safety belt to the vehicle at the outside of the front outboard seating positions can fatigue and separate over time as a result of occupant movement into the seat., Dealer is not authorized to perform the recall repair. Periodically contact the manufacturer or check the VIN on the NHTSA website at www.safercar.govivin to determine whether a remedy for the recall is available. As soon as a remedy is available, arrange to have the recall remedied with a dealer from that make of car to make such repair.
