Up for auction is this 2012 Ford Focus. There's good news and bad news- lets start with the good; The exterior of this car is in fine shape as is the interior. Tires are at roughly 50% tread, maybe slightly better. It would make a fine parts car for someone, or a particularly ambitious mechanic. Now, about the bad- this car needs extensive work to make it roadworthy. University logos will have been removed by the end of auction. I've uploaded a .pdf of a quote from a local dealership that has extensive notes on the car. Amongst them are: it needs a battery. It does not crank on with it's current battery. The a/c compressor will need to be replaced as well as the serpentine tensioner. There is also significant rodent damage under the hood. There are more issues itemized in the included .pdf, but these are most of the biggies. Exact odometer reading is not known, however we believe it to be roughly 55K, maybe slightly less. This car will need to be towed from it's current location.
