Up for auction is a 2012 Hino 268 rear-load garbage truck equipped with a Heil refuse body. The truck will run with new batteries installed. This unit was previously used in municipal sanitation service and was used for cardboard collection only. Last recorded miles were 153,703. The Heil rear-loader body is equipped with a rear loading hopper, hydraulic compaction system, and rear cart tipper. The truck also has an in-cab camera/monitor system and controls associated with refuse collection operations. Condition The truck shows cosmetic wear consistent with its age and previous municipal fleet use. Exterior wear includes fading/oxidation of the cab paint, scratches, scuffs, and other normal signs of use. The refuse body also shows normal operational wear. The cab interior appears to be in generally serviceable condition with wear consistent with its age and use. The truck is equipped with a Heil rear-load refuse body and rear cart tipper. The refuse body and associated hydraulic equipment have not been independently inspected for this auction, and bidders should inspect the unit to determine their current condition and functionality.
