2014 Volkswagen Passat 2.0L TDI SE AT SEDAN 4-DR – 2.0L L4 DOHC 16V TURBO DIESEL Automatic transmission Sedan 4-door configuration Vehicle was towed into our facility Vehicle was originally towed into our facility in March Vehicle was running when it originally arrived at our facility During our previous testing, the vehicle would stall when placed into gear At the time of the current inspection, we did not attempt to start the vehicle Vehicle should be considered NON-RUNNING and in need of repairs Bidders should purchase this vehicle with the expectation that repairs will be required or for use as a parts vehicle The diesel emissions/aftertreatment system appears to remain intact on the vehicle. These components may have a strong resale or parts value should the winning bidder elect to dismantle the vehicle Vehicle should be expected to have normal wear, cosmetic imperfections, scratches, dents, paint chips, and other signs of use consistent with its age and mileage unless otherwise noted. Exterior may have cosmetic wear consistent with age and use. History is unknown. Vehicle was only briefly operated around our lot after initially arriving at our facility, and only basic functions were observed. We do not perform mechanical inspections beyond basic functions. Vehicle may have additional mechanical, electrical, emissions, transmission, engine, or other issues not readily apparent. This vehicle was not started or operated during our current inspection. We make no warranty or representation regarding whether the vehicle currently starts, runs, drives, or can be made operational. Inspection of this vehicle is the responsibility of the bidder. We strongly recommend sending us a message through GovDeals to schedule an inspection prior to bidding. If you are unable to inspect the vehicle personally, you may hire a third-party inspector at your own expense to inspect the vehicle on your behalf. Additional Information Shipping is available at the buyer's expense. We can assist with loading for a fee. Please come prepared to load this vehicle unless prior arrangements have been made with us. OUR LOT CANNOT BE BLOCKED DURING LOADING. No repairs are permitted on the property without prior approval from a lot manager. Pickup is by appointment only. All sales are AS-IS and FINAL. All Ohio residents are required to pay sales tax based on the address listed on their driver's license. If your current address does not match your license, this must be corrected with the State—not us. We strictly use the address on your driver's license and will not make exceptions for alternate addresses under any circumstances. Sales tax will be collected at the time of vehicle pickup for all states required by law. We accept cash or check. If a check is returned or does not clear, all paperwork will be held until the balance has been paid in full. Title will be mailed to the address listed on the GovDeals profile after being assigned by our local title agency into the buyer's name. We do not release open titles. Due to the vehicle's current unknown running condition and previous stalling issue, this vehicle must be towed or transported from the property. Please come prepared with appropriate transportation or make arrangements with us prior to pickup. If the buyer will not be present at pickup and elects to send a third party or transport company, a signed Power of Attorney (POA) will be required authorizing that individual or company to sign all necessary paperwork on the buyer's behalf. The POA must be provided prior to pickup, and the individual picking up the vehicle must present valid identification matching the authorized party listed in the POA. Vehicles will not be released without the required documentation.
