Ran great, but throwing over heating codes. PROCESSING NOTES : Up for auction is a 2015 Yamaha F300 300HP 4-stroke outboard boat motor with approximately 2,500 hours. The motor was submitted by an agency, which reported that the motor ran great during operation but was throwing overheating codes. Motor Information: Make: Yamaha Model: F300 Year: 2015 Horsepower: 300 HP Engine Hours: Approximately 2,500 Serial/VIN: 6CEU1021085 Engine Type: 4-Stroke Outboard Known Condition: Agency reported that the motor ran well but was displaying overheating codes. No propeller is included; the propeller/blade is missing. Motor exhibits significant cosmetic wear and tear consistent with age and use. Visible marine growth/residue is present on portions of the motor, including what appears to be white marine buildup/spores. The cause of the reported overheating codes has not been diagnosed or verified. Additional inspection, maintenance, and/or repairs may be required before the motor can be placed back into service. Due to the age, approximately 2,500 hours of use, reported overheating codes, missing propeller, and overall condition, bidders should carefully evaluate the motor before bidding. The serial number says F300UCA but it appears to have a 250HP head cover on it. The motor is being sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS, with no guarantees or warranties expressed or implied.
