MTA NYCT is offering for auction a 2016 AM GENERAL MV-1 Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (10054) The MV-1 is the only purpose-built wheelchair accessible vehicle available on the market. MV-1 offers a solution to wheelchair users: a purpose-built vehicle with a low wheelchair ramp angle, ample floor space in which to maneuver and the option for a wheelchair-bound individual to ride in the passenger seat. Important Notice: THIS VEHICLE DOES NOT HAVE KEYS AND MUST BE TOWED. Steering wheels are locked, but the vehicle can be placed into neutral. Vehicle must be towed. Front wheel-lift truck, wheel skates or dollies recommended. Condition: This vehicle has multiple issues with the engine and transmission and as such is a PARTS ONLY vehicle. Vehicle was used for livery service and was maintained/inspected every 6 months prior to retirement. ONLY 143K Miles POWER RAMP Current running condition is unknown, but vehicle ran when parked.
