Condition: As-is
2016 Ford Explorer Police Interceptor package. 3.7L AWD MECHANICAL: There are no known major mechanical issues with this vehicle at this time. The only known, minor mechanical issue is the hood release cable is stretched making it difficult to release the hood at times. There are no other known issues. The battery conditioner was installed because the vehicle has been sitting for long periods of time without operation. AC blows cold. BODY: The body is in good shape. There is was some rusting on the front hood where paint came off when decals were removed. There are no dents and the vehicle has never been wrecked. REASON FOR SELLING: The vehicle was assigned to officers before moving to fleet. It has reached it's 10 year life span that we like to replace vehicles at in our capital improvement plan. Also, since the vehicle has moved to fleet, it has not been needed very often and gets ran infrequently. This lack of use is why the battery conditioner was installed on the vehicle. INCLUDED EQUIPMENT: The light and siren package is operational and will be sold with the vehicle. The only thing that will be removed is the Motorola portable radio dock.
