2016 Ford Explorer SPORT UTILITY 4-DR, 3.7L V6 DOHC 24V. APD is auctioning this vehicle due to replacement schedule. Vehicle is what you would expect of a 10-year-old patrol vehicle with stated mileage. Maintenance records are available if needed. Standard repairs have been done to the vehicle over its lifetime, but the vehicle has been a reliable patrol vehicle. Decision was made not to invest any more money into repairs etc. due to age/mileage/replacement schedule as noted. Vehicle has had repairs done related to heating and cooling system in vehicle. There appears to be moisture in the passenger side taillight housing and there are no rear seats etc for the vehicle. Please note the damage to the driver's side rear door was not from a collision to this vehicle. The door was damaged on another patrol vehicle (2018) during a PIT maneuver, and the doors were swapped out as this vehicles service life was complete. Per records, there appears to have been a collision this vehicle was involved in circa 2019 where repairs were made to the rear of the vehicle at a local Ford body shop. Vehicle is black in color with a white roof. Doors were wrapped with white for a black and white color scheme. All emergency equipment has been removed.
