The Township of Ocean Sewerage Authority is offering for sale a 2016 Ford F-350 Super Duty 4x4 utility truck with 62,524 miles. The truck is equipped with a Stahl service/utility body and a 2016 BOSS straight-blade snowplow. The vehicle was previously used by the Authority as a maintenance/service vehicle and for snow removal operations. It has been out of service for approximately one year due to a suspected head gasket leak. Known Condition The truck starts, runs, and drives. However, it was removed from service due to a suspected head gasket leak. The exact cause and extent of the suspected engine issue have not been confirmed, and prospective bidders should assume that diagnosis and repairs will be required. The vehicle has been sitting out of service for approximately one year. Due to the length of time it has been sitting, the battery does not currently have sufficient charge to start the vehicle, and the truck requires a jump-start to operate.
