All smog related repairs and certifications for vehicles, when applicable, are the sole responsibility of the buyer as outlined in California Vehicle Code, Division 12, Section 24007.5(g). The certificate of compliance certifies that the vehicle complies with Part 5 (commencing with Section 43000) of Division 26 of the Health and Safety Code.
