Light testing was conducted by plugging in and powering on the unit. The MacBook powered on successfully, and the keyboard, Wi-Fi, and display were tested and appeared to be functioning properly. We attempted to install a fresh version of macOS; however, our available USB macOS installer was not functioning properly, so we were unable to complete the installation. A fresh installation of macOS will need to be performed by the buyer in order for the laptop to operate as intended.
