We are not sure what the condition of the tank is. We do not know if it is empty or full. This is the information we have. 8,000 gallon single wall vertical storage tank. 10' diameter x 14' high. Supported by 6 legs. Approximate weight is 9,600 pounds. Winning bidder will be responsible for all removal labor and cost. Seller will give the winning bidder 30 days from the end of auction to remove the material. The seller has the right to require winning bidder to sign any liability paperwork for removal. Any permits that could be required to remove this asset is the responsibility of the winning bidder. The seller will not assist with removal. It is very important that bidders study pictures. It is highly recommended that bidders come and inspect before bidding. “The County shall not be liable for any injury to the person or property of any person, firm, or corporation resulting directly or indirectly from the buyer’s performance of the removal of those items associated with this purchase, and the buyer assumes full and complete responsibility, therefore. The buyer shall further indemnify the County and hold the County safe and harmless from any and all liability, lawsuits, judgments, attorney fees, and other costs incurred by the County in defending any claim or lawsuit made against the County by any person, firm, or corporation arising directly or indirectly out of the buyer’s work performed pursuant to the removal of those items associated with this purchase. The term County shall include Pike County, the Pike County Commission, the officers, appointees, department heads, agents, and employees of the Pike County Commission.”
