Public Utility District No. 1 of Benton County does not test, inspect, certify, or verify the condition, operation, markings, specifications, completeness, or suitability of any item. Buyers are solely responsible for verifying equipment specifications and determining whether an item meets their intended application and requirements. Inspection and Evaluation The responsibility for determining the condition, functionality, and value of the property rests entirely with the bidder. Prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect property prior to bidding and to base their bids solely on their own inspection and evaluation. Item descriptions are believed to be accurate; however, Public Utility District No. 1 of Benton County makes no representations, warranties, or guarantees regarding the accuracy or completeness of any description. Assumption of Risk and Indemnification By purchasing any item, the buyer agrees, on behalf of themselves and their heirs, successors, and assigns, to indemnify and hold harmless Public Utility District No. 1 of Benton County, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, or causes of action arising from or related to the sale, use, transportation, possession, or failure to sell any surplus property, including claims involving personal injury, death, property damage, or contractual disputes. Removal and Pickup Buyer is responsible for all loading, removal, transportation, and any associated costs. Pickup is by appointment only. Pickup hours are Monday through Thursday, 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Buyers must provide at least 24 hours notice before arriving for pickup.
