The Bissel Spot lifter 1716 is a corded, handheld portable carpet cleaner featuring a rotating dual powerbrush to lift spots and stains. Key Specifications Power: Corded 18-foot cord, 2 amps, 120V Tank Capacity: 12 oz collection (dirty) tank and 8 oz solution (clean) tank Weight: 4.1 lbs. Action: Sprays, scrubs with rotating brushes, and suctions in one step Usage and Operation Brushing Only: Tilt the unit forward slightly so both brushes touch the carpet flat. Suction Only: Tilt the unit forward and press the front firmly to lift the brushes off the surface, pulling toward you to extract dirty water. Spraying: Squeeze the manual trigger; if it fails to spray immediately, prime the pump by squeezing repeatedly for 1–2 minutes. Note that most replacement parts for this legacy model are no longer manufactured directly by BISSELL
