LOT DESCRIPTION & CONTENTS: This surplus lot consists of fire department ventilation equipment, small gas engine equipment, fuel storage cans, and apparatus storage hardware. Included in Lot:(2) Gas-Powered PPV Ventilation Fans: Gas engine-driven positive pressure ventilation blowers in stainless steel/tubular roll-cage frames with protective shroud grilles. Powered by Honda engines. Equipped with flexible metallic exhaust diverter hoses. (1) STIHL Backpack Blower: Gas-powered backpack leaf/air blower with flexible tube assembly and harness. (1) Diamond Plate Aluminum Tool / Utility Box: Heavy-duty aluminum tread-plate storage box with hinged lid. (2) Justrite Red Metal Safety Fuel Cans: Heavy-duty metal safety cans for fuel storage (labeled for mixed gas and unleaded fuel). Exhaust Diverter Hoses & Clamps: Flexible stainless steel exhaust extension hoses attached to the fan mufflers. CONDITION & KNOWN DEFECTS: General Condition: Sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS. Operational Status: Small engines are untested; operating condition, compression, and starting ability are not guaranteed. Equipment was retired per standard department replacement schedules. Fuel / Fluids: Gas tanks have been drained or contain residual fuel. Fuel system service/carburetor cleaning may be required prior to operation. Exterior Wear: Items show normal fire service wear, including scuffs, scratches, surface grime, and agency markings/labels. Inspections: On-site inspection prior to bidding is strongly encouraged. REMOVAL & SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS: Buyer Requirement: Winning bidder is solely responsible for all loading, securing, and transport arrangements. Loading Assistance: Forklift loading assistance for the pallet may be available upon request during scheduled pickup hours.
