LOCATION: VT Brooks Center 1650 Research Center Drive Blacksburg, VA 24060 CONTACT: David Jones PHONE: 540-231-7342 between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm EMAIL: dajones@vt.edu ITEM DESCRIPTION: This is a CAE/VPI woodchipper. Unit measures approx. 6.5'tall X 6'deep X 8'wide. Chipper was last used about 2 years ago and department stated it worked as it should. Chipper is located in a lab that has a garage door with direct access outside. Department has said they can aid in loading with their forklift if buyer's truck/trailer is compatible. Please contact David for questions and to schedule an inspection. Building is ground level. AS IS / WHERE IS with no warranty or guarantee given or implied. We strongly encourage you come and inspect them before bidding. SOLD AS IS / WHERE IS. Buyer is responsible for ALL LOADING AND REMOVAL. If using a 3rd-Party agent; buyer must notify seller prior to item removal. Buyer must notify Ron Barrett (ronald@vt.edu) by email with name of person picking up item(s). The buyer must provide agent with a faxed copy of buyer's certificate, including their signed authorization to release their items. Person picking up will be required to sign the Bill of Sale. CONDITION OF REMOVAL is by Appointment with 24-hour notice. If additional time is needed for pickup, it must be approved by Ron Barrett, ronald@vt.edu by email BEFORE the item is purchased.
