Overview This lot contains (2) Caterpillar 3396B diesel engines. The engines are classified in repairable condition. These are pullout engines that have been crated and unused since delivery on July 16th, 2025. The operating condition is unknown. Material certification documentation is included with NIIN verification. Engines feature turbocharger and aftercooler systems. Multiple fluid connection points and mounting brackets are visible. Condition & Markings This lot is in repairable condition. Parts may be missing, and repairs may be required. Engines show surface rust and corrosion on various components including exhaust manifolds and metal surfaces. Green military-style paint finish with visible wear and oxidation. Various markings visible including "MFP 7G3906", "7G52M1", and other alphanumeric identifiers on engine components. Material certification label shows inspection date of 11/2021 and verification by BARKER and MCGREGOR. One engine displays serial number 7G47J90 on manufacturer's data plate. Protective plastic sheeting covers portions of the engines within the crates. Inspection and Removal Inspection and Removal: Available Monday through Friday, by confirmed appointment only. The site is closed on federal holidays. Contact the property custodian (listed below) to schedule an appointment. Removal Responsibilities: The successful bidder is solely responsible for all aspects of removal, including packing, crating, banding, loading, and shipping. The agency will not provide assistance. Onsite inspection is highly encouraged, inspection times are 8am-3pm CST. The winning bidder must contact the property custodian to make an appointment for property removals as other documents beyond GSA purchasers' receipt are required.
