Overview LW Scientific E8 centrifuge acquired in December 2018. The item is in used condition. Equipment is in working condition with power cord included. No longer needed by facility. Specifications Make: LW Scientific Model: E8 Serial Number: 19573 Condition & Markings Parts may be missing, and repairs may be required. Equipment is reported as working condition. Power cord is included. Inspection and Removal Inspection and Removal: Available Monday through Friday during the hours of 7:30AM-2:30PM, by confirmed appointment only. The site is closed on federal holidays. Contact the property custodian at Corey.Dicken@va.gov or 217-554-5896 to schedule an appointment. Property Inspection: Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the property prior to placing a bid to evaluate its condition and suitability. By bidding without an inspection, bidders assume the risk of potential omissions in the description. Removal Responsibilities: The successful bidder is solely responsible for all aspects of removal, including packing, crating, banding, loading, and shipping. The agency will not provide assistance. Authorized Third-Party Removal: The authorized third-party agent must present a Letter of Authorization from the high bidder (see terms and conditions for details), a copy of the purchasers receipt, and a valid photo ID at the time of removal. Additional Information: You must contact custodian 24-hours in advance of picking up the property. You must ensure your vehicle is large enough to transport the item purchased. You must ensure you have the proper help, if needed, to remove property. Agency employees are not permitted to help with removal. MEDICAL DEVICES STATEMENT: The Successful Bidder of this lot will be required to sign and date a Medical Statement of Intent and send to melinda.jenkins@gsa.gov prior to remitting full payment and initiating removal.
