Condition: SEE DESCRIPTION You are bidding on: Cepheid Smart Cycler It was used by Oregon State University and is no longer needed. Indicated by department to be functional. Unit has been power tested but fully functionality is unknown. Original unit information: The SmartCycler is a real-time PCR instrument with 16, 34, 48, 64, 80 or 96 independent reaction sites. Each reaction site can be programmed and run independently. This allows multiple assays to be run on one or more samples at a time. The integrated optics of the instrument allows for simultaneous excitation and detection of four different spectral bands allowing 4x multiplexing Please see pictures for additional description.
