By bidding without an inspection, bidders assume the risk of potential omissions in the description. Removal Responsibilities: The successful bidder is solely responsible for all aspects of removal, including packing, crating, banding, loading, and shipping. The agency will not provide assistance. Authorized Third-Party Removal: The authorized third-party agent must present a Letter of Authorization from the high bidder (see terms and conditions for details), a copy of the purchasers receipt, and a valid photo ID at the time of removal. Additional Information: All buyers and representatives must comply with VA facility access controls. Visitors must present a valid government-issued photo ID at the VA entrance and obtain a locally issued visitor pass. Access to removal areas may require escort based on facility policy. Only individuals listed on the purchaser's documentation or carrying a signed authorization letter will be permitted onsite for pickup. The property is located on the second floor, and no loading dock is available. Buyers are responsible for bringing all manpower, tools, equipment, and vehicles necessary to safely move items down from the second floor and transport them offsite. VA staff cannot assist with lifting, carrying, loading, or securing the property. Items are not packed, and buyers must supply any packing materials, boxes, pallets, or protective wrapping needed.
