The EOS P810 polymer 3D printing platform is a selective laser sintering (SLS) system originally designed to process high performance ALM HT-23 material. Parts are manufactured layer-by-layer within a self-supporting powder cake and can therefore be complex shapes. This material was developed in close cooperations with Boeing to target the aerospace industry as a high-temperature polymer additive manufacturing solution for high performing parts. The system features a large 700 x 380 x 380 mm build volume and two CO2 70-watt lasers to produce large format structural parts with good dimensional accuracy and productivity rates. The ALM HT-23 material delivers high strength, low weight and is capable of withstanding high temperatures, all with a refresh rate of 40 percent.
