Full Description

SEPTA is seeking to sell the following Railroad Work Car as one lot. 1998 Fairmont Tamper Tie Inserter 7055. Dimensions are approx. 17.5' L x 7.5' W x 10' H and 16,000 LBS, 8,225.1 Hours worked. The work car should start but is not operational due to a fuel leak will needs repairs and maintenance to move. SEPTA retired this vehicle due needed repairs and replacement. Prior to pick-up SEPTA will black out all trademarks, logos, and labels of SEPTA which appear on the vehicle. The car must be removed by flatbed trailer only. SEPTA will assist with loading. INSPECTION is highly recommended. Vehicle is being sold “AS IS” so please BID ACCORDINGLY. Vehicle is located at SEPTA's Midvale Utilities Yard, 4301 Wissahickon Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19129. Access is only permissible under SEPTA supervision.
