FEI Quanta 200 Scanning Electron Microscope and EDS Detectors

For auction is a FEI Quanta 200 Scanning Electron Microscope and multiple types of EDS Detectors​​. The Quanta 200 Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) is a flexible, general purpose, simple-to-use instrument that can be operated in either regular high-vacuum or low-vacuum modes, enabling users to image a wide variety of samples. The Quanta is equipped with standard Secondary Electron (SE) and Back Scatter Electron (BSE) detectors, in addition to an Energy Dispersive X-ray Analysis (EDS) detector and an internal TV camera. EDS Detectors: The EDAX 60 mm2 Octane Super EDS detector is currently attached to the Electron Microscope while the EDAX 10 mm2 Octane Pro EDS detector is not. Equipment was used and is still located in the Center for Electron Microscopy and Analysis (CEMAS Building) at the Ohio State University. The shipping skid and ramp are included to make shipping much easier for the buyer. The buyer will need to prepare (i.e., secure) the equipment for shipment. ​Item pick up will need to be arranged with CEMAS staff, contact Surplus Department for scheduling. This is not located in Toledo, Ohio. Contact Surplus for more details. All assets are sold as is, where is and without warranty. Once any asset is removed from the seller's premises there is no refund of monies previously paid. Assets may be inspected during normal business hours. Winning bidders are responsible for arranging asset pickup and transportation (Item pick up at bay 24). Inspections can be made only under appointment and prior approval. We do not deliver any assets whatsoever, and are unable to provide any containment such as boxes, crates, straps, etc. Normal business hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 3pm. No appointments will be accepted on the third Tuesday of each month, due to the public sale. Appointments for removal of items must be made at least one business day in advance.
